I think the cream foundation is a good product. The color is nice; it lasts all day, and I don't feel like I get overly shiny like I tend to become. However, it's not five stars for me because I do feel like it is difficult to apply, fingers is probably best, but the container makes that more cumbersome. I have to make sure I look at my face closely for uneven application, which isn't something I usually have to do. I also feel like I have to use a translucent powder with it to fill in texture that it leaves behind.
I appreciate the piece of mind of being natural and the mission, so I will use my purchase. And it's good for what it is.
I cannot get over how much I have loved this foundation. I do not wear much make up and was hesitant to get back to wearing it as a young mom on the go with kids barely having time to get ready but now I am like making time for it because I love love love how it’s looked. If you are looking for a light coverage a more bare look this is PERFECT!!! Not heavy at all and I did the color match and it couldn’t have been more spot on. I was so surprised. I do the cream foundation and blend with a blender sponge and then the cream blush popsicle on top with the bronzing stick and I am
Just obsessed. 5 min max routine and it’s the most me I’ve ever felt in make up. I will be lifetime customer. I never write reviews but I just had to because I’m so pleased with the outcome. I got the 3. A little goes a long way
The container makes it a little difficult to get the product out and it doesn’t absorb into my skin like I hoped. I am giving it more time and will continue to see if improves as my skin improves since this is “skincare” makeup.
I'll start off by saying that it was a tad difficult to pick my color because it seems like they are still collecting photos from customers. So I did the best I could, and by golly, it matches perfectly! lol. I'll also say that I haven't worn foundation for a couple years. I've always struggled with a more oily skin on my face. A LOT of foundations out there have oil in them and I've always tried to stray away form those that do, reaching for the "oil free" options. I used Este Lauder's foundation for a couple years because it was the ONLY one I could find (and I tried A LOT) that didn't make me oily. It was a matte finish, oil free, and was a liquid so it went on well. They discontinued that particular one a couple years ago and I was so disappointed. I tried a couple others, but ultimately, they were awful and made me even more oily looking. For the past year or so, I've just been using DIME's tinted wonder screen as my "foundation" and gone super minimalist. I was iffy to try A'dele foundation as I knew it had oil in it and it was a cream (which in my mind would be oily to begin with), but I was desperate to find a foundation that gave me a slight coverage and was CLEAN.....I FOUND IT! I'm LOVING this cream foundation so far! It goes on well, isn't cakey, you can make it as much coverage as you want, and best of all, it doesn't leave me oily!! It also isn't completely matte. It has a wonderful look to it that keeps your face/makeup looking nice. NOT necessarily a "dewy/glowy" look, but not a powdery matte one either. I like that middle ground. I highly recommend giving this a shot if you are on the hunt for a foundation. The oil does tend to separate from the cream often, but I just give it a good couple shakes (which you are supposed to do with liquid foundations also) and it's back to normal! So happy to have found a foundation that I love and that is clean and a company I trust!
I will admit I was skeptical about whether this cream foundation would check all the boxes, but i am happy to say I have been pleasantly surprised! I am happy with the shade I chose and the fact that it doesn't take very much to get good coverage. My only small complaint is the size of the jar. I use a foundation brush for application and it just barely fits into the opening. Other than that I am very happy with my purchase!
