Similar to my review on the Blue Lagoon Balm, I have hormonal acne, so I didn't expect the Cleanser to be a cure-all for my skin issues, by any means. I was most attracted to the idea of a truly natural, gentle product that would actually make my skin be (not just appear) more healthy underneath the acne from which I suffer. That's very much what I received - because my acne is hormonal, this product naturally doesn't really alleviate it, but I love how it makes my skin feel despite the acne that I already have. The directions are to apply 4-6 pumps from the bottle onto your face, massaging in for 1-2 minutes, then to 'deep-clean' by twice placing a warm washcloth on your face (on top of the cleanser) and letting it cool before gently wiping the cleanser off. I take an additional step of applying the cleanser with a soft, rubber exfoliating pad and it spreads the Cleanser very well and aids in giving my skin a more even, bright appearance when using it regularly.
As oily as the Cleanser is, it doesn't both my skin or make my acne worse at all from what I can tell. Knowing how gentle and naturally deeply moisturizing the Cleanser is is the main draw for me; I feel so good about using it knowing that it's not stripping my face of its good natural oils in the process of removing the bad stuff. My face looked and felt more supple & healthier and looked brighter & more even after using this for even just a week. I would definitely recommend it!
I have had hormonal/cystic acne since having my second child and this is the only product where I feel like I can get my face makeup free and clean without breaking out more. Feels and smells amazing!
I love this. It feels so luxurious on the skin... like a fresh, healthy green smoothie for the face.
I love this! It has made my skin feel excellent!
I have never used oil based cleansers and was unsure of how this would work. It is BEAUTIFUL! I love the smell, so organic and natural, I massage it into my face and it truly removes make up and excess after applying a heated washcloth and repeating. I’m loving it
