FAQs

Yes! Our products are formulated (by Arlene) and handmade by our team! There is one exception: we teamed up with a fantastic formulator to make our amazing mascara with A'del approved ingredients! It is made in the USA

Yes, generally they are. All of our color cosmetics are extremely safe and some of the purest on the market. The only question is with the essential oils and pregnancy. (And to be perfectly honest synthetic fragrances can do a lot of harm…And synthetic fragrances are in a lot of so called natural products!)

But I ALWAYS want people to ask their health care providers as many of them have differing opinions on essential oils. Blue tansy would be the only essential oil I would want pregnant women to be cautious with early in the pregnancy.  But even with saying that we have had many pregnant women use it with no problem. As mentioned, talk to your health care provider with any questions or concerns you may have.

LOTION BARS!

The eczema healing we have witnessed with our lotion bars is simply incredible! 

This is a common occurrence. The face balm may have partially melted and is now in the process of solidifying again. You should have received instructions on the Thank You card regarding what to do if this happened; I apologize if you did not. It's important to ensure the face balm returns to a fully liquid state (similar to water) before placing it in the freezer for 24 hours. Please follow the instructions here for a simple solution!

How to use

As a bronzer apply where the sun normally hits your face - high on the cheekbones, on the bridge of the nose and on the forehead.

As a contour product apply below the cheekbones, on the sides of the bridge of the nose, on the jaw line and around the hair line.  

Tip:  As we age it's important to remember that glowing, moisturized skin coupled with golden shades help bring youthfulness to the skin. 

How to apply:

If you want a more translucent finish swipe on your face and blend with your fingers.  If you want more depth swipe the bronzer on your face and blend with either the A'del Foundation Blender, Chubby Blender or Small Rounded Face Brush.
